I saw Dr. Sall for primary care services. Even though he is concierge, if you have the means it is well worth it. First of all when can you ever see a doctor for an hour and second have someone that actually listens to all your concerns and will go above and beyond to help do the proper workup and get you the right treatment weather it's primary care related or sports medicine related. It is always easy to get in contact with a staff member, and if someone does not answer the phone, they have a fantastic text messaging system and someone is always quick to respond. I finally found a place that I feel like I am part of a family and not just another daily number. The other thing I think is amazing is all the services they offer. It's nice just being able to go to one location and not drive around all over town.

I tore my ACL playing college soccer. Dr. Labovitch and his amazing team helped me through a stressful process. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are part of a family, not just another number or dollar amount. You can tell so much thought and time has gone into SMaRT on every level, not just the building, but the staff. He was very thorough in his explanations of the injury and the process from pre-rehab and surgery to end goal of recovery. His medical team was exceptional in making sure I had everything I needed and all my questions were answered. I also chose to add PRP during surgery and utilize the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy postoperatively. It was amazing how much better this made me feel not just for my knee but my overall body. I truly believe this made a significant difference in speeding up my recovery and minimizing my pain levels. It's rare to find a physician and staff that cares the way they do. Hopefully I won't have any more injuries, but if I do I will definitely be back.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Matt Zapf. My daughter had bilateral (not at the same time) tibial tubercle osteotomy and MPFL reconstructions due to her recurrent patella dislocations with patella alta. Two major surgeries for my daughter at 16 and then again at 17 years old.

From the moment we met Dr. Zapf at the consultation, then through two surgeries and then recovery, his care, professionalism, and expertise were outstanding. Dr. Zapf not only took the time to explain every step of the procedures in a way that was clear and reassuring, helping to ease her and my anxiety. His humor and connection with young athletes was like nothing I have seen in other surgeons.

The surgery itself was a complete success, and her recovery went even better than expected. My daughter felt supported every step of the way and even has decided to study Kinesiology in college due to her experience with Dr. Zapf. It’s clear that Dr. Zapf is not only incredibly skilled but also genuinely cares about their patients’ well-being.

I had been suffering from osteoarthritis for several years. I had some success with Physical Therapy, but it got to the point where the pain was so bad it was interfering with my life, I was having a lot of trouble getting around, and I was unable to do most of the things I enjoy. I was referred to Dr. Zapf, and on my first appointment, I knew I was in good hands. He performed a total hip replacement and I was up walking within an hour, I was off of all pain medicine within a week, and I was no longer using a walker after two. I returned to Physical Therapy and made great progress. It has been just over 4 months since my operation, and I am a totally new person. I am able to do most of the things I hadn't done in years, I am in no pain, and I continue to make progress every day. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Zapf for the expertise, care and support he provided throughout my journey. Thank you so much Dr. Zapf, you gave me my life back!

SMART is the only place my family and I will be going for PT or other related care! I've been to several other PTs in the area and Dr. John Kwon was life-changing. I got more out of one appointment with him than 6 weeks at other places. My husband is a former MLB pitcher and Dr. Ryan Labovich is his go-to for all things arm related from an orthopedic doctor - and he's seen many all over the country. SMART is a one-stop shop to truly heal and feel your very best. On top of that, they make the process fun and enjoyable. The energy there can't be beat - you never want to stop going!

Professional, friendly, great location, (I live in Laguna Beach and it is as easy to get to as Newport Beach) and best of all he is a GREAT DOCTOR…Dr. Ryan Labovich. He’s an athlete himself, (but you don’t k have to be, he knows his stuff!) honest, and I worked with him before at another office. Check in easy. Staff nice. Parking easy. Nice offices. PT in same building. X-rays same office. Quick to respond. I highly recommend him for any knee issues, I’m sure he’s good at other issues I’m just commenting on what I have worked with him on. He’s worked with the BEST surgeons and orthopedic doctors and is one himself! He worked with Kramer and Gorab! Well known in OC!

I have a lot of respect for Dr Labovitch! He has treated other injuries I’ve had over the years so it only made sense to go back to him for this knee pain I’ve been experiencing. This new practice and facility has a lot to offer and I wish him all success in this venture!

I had a great experience meeting with Dr. Labovitch. The facility is very clean and has all the departments needed from start to finish. Dr. Labovitch is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I was in for a knee injury, he was my second opinion and I wish he was my first, I could’ve had 6 months of my life back without pain. I’m looking forward to having my procedure done so I can finally heal.

Best doctor visit in every way!! After exiting elevator, on second floor, to my surprise and delight the doors opened to an absolutely stunning, expansive and beautiful waiting room, as if I were entering my own Fancy apartment with private elevator :)
Nicole, at the front desk, greeted me warmly and helpful answering questions and completing online questionnaire. I was then escorted into an examining room by Dr Labovitch’s Nurse, Jacque, who was welcoming, friendly and kind.
I made the Appt. to have my shoulder evaluated for frozen shoulder and range of motion loss. Dr Labovitch greeted me with a friendly and professional welcome. His exam of my shoulder was extensive, thorough and quite impressive. His knowledgeable feedback on how to address, best, my shoulder, was pertinent, with valid suggestions explained clearly. I never felt rushed. He was so patient addressing my many questions. Suffice it to say, I felt I was in the very best and capable hands during my evaluation and would give 10 stars if the option availed itself. Thank you so very much Dr Labovitch for your excellent, meticulous and comprehensive exam, Nicole for your cordial and sincere welcome and Jacquie for your attentive and conscientious management and supervision during my visit.

Dr. Labovitch did an outstanding job on my knee (ACL reconstruction). He is not only a top notch surgeon (excellent surgery performed), but also has outstanding bedside manners, and will provide all options ranging from no surgery to surgery (with associated options as there are multiple ways to do it, explaining pros and cons of each). I’ve been happily going to my follow-up appointments at this new facility (very nice). His staff is very nice (and very good). For any knee problem, whether or not you would prefer, or prefer not to, have surgery, I highly recommend it.
